All evaluation from the participants was positive underlining for some of them how this meeting clarify for their own work and organisation why a gender perspective was needed for increasing privacy and security skills among WHRD and women and trans persons activists.

Motivations for organizing training For preparing a GTI in Ecuador, a kick off
For preparing a GTI in Ecuador, a kick off meeting was hosted previously counting with WHRDs, women activists and digital security trainers that worked towards planning the event. They worked on the methodologies, design of sessions and agenda planning, in addition to establishing the means to reach out to participants and criteria for selecting among them. Another key element addressed was discussing the overall security of the event and how to create a safe space and ensure an atmosphere of well being and trust.
